Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not;
remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.
Epicurus
Last month I made a little handmade booklet, 3 x 3.5 inches, for journalling my gratitudes.
This month I began doing quick sketches of moments or things I am happy about and want to take time to remember.
These are a few gratitudes from this past week.

I agree being appreciative of all we have is important and encourages more appreciation of life. Your journal is a good idea and sweet art included just makes it all the more meaningful for you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea keeping a journal like that.
ReplyDeleteYour sketches are beautiful and truly captured the feeling of the subjects. I like the idea of keeping a gratitudes journal, and the small size would make it manageable. Blessings!

ReplyDeleteThis is really LOVELY, Juana! I'm a big believer in the power of gratitude journalling. And I especially love how you've chosen a small scale for our project... Small can be mighty. ;o) Your mini books gives some great inspiration--it's like haiku! Happy Day ((HUGS))
